The guest above me was snoring which kept myself and other guests awake during the night. At breakfast the next morning about 8:30 am, I was verbally abused by another guest. He accused me of pushing in when I approached the toaster sandwich press that was available to use. I did see him leaning against the bench with his back to the machine and it was available, but I didn't get up straight away thinking he is waiting to use it. When I turned around moments later, it was still available, so I placed my sandwich in the press, and then the abuse started from this male person. He said 'you pushed in, I am waiting to use that, take your sandwich out now.' I said 'it's too late, I thought you wanted to use it, but after waiting long enough I thought, well, maybe not.' He again told me to 'move my sandwich or I will do it myself.' I said 'do not touch my food.' He then said 'it's not your food.' I then said 'you are at this level now' as I lowered my hand towards the ground. He then responded 'you are a bitch, a whore, a slut, a slag, scum, a witch, a fuckin crazy person' and then he returned with a fork to remove my sandwich. After I removed my cooked sandwich from the press, I returned to my seat, and he followed me and continued humiliating himself in front of everyone and recording his final words to me. I reported it to staff but wasn't happy with the response I received. I was blamed for the incident. 'I was at the wrong place at the wrong time and I acted professionally.' This man's derogatory behavior was a disgrace for everyone to hear and see. I will not return to an environment with these types of people staying as guests.
