Good hotel location, relatively decent breakfast, but very expensive compared to hotels in Shanghai, costing 228 yuan per person.

The hotel is very old, needs renovation, bathroom doors do not close, door guides were detached, so the door did not move on them, had to use it with the door open. The rooms have a musty smell. The staff hardly speak English. When booking a room for two nights, the full payment was immediately deducted on Booking.com. The hotel demanded payment for the room, despite explanations that the room was paid for, they said it was a deposit that would be returned immediately after check-out. It was at night, had to pay, and nothing was returned after check-out. It turns out the room had to be paid for twice, a very unpleasant situation, not always possible to pay for the room twice. Now have to deal with getting the money back, which of course greatly spoiled the impression of the hotel.
Very comfortable and the concierge is always very helpful.

If the chef could make better oat porridge and speak more English politely.
