Might be a bit expensive
I found this property to be a hidden gem. If you need to cook, there is a portable skillet you can use. Close to anything you need, basically a short walk, and across the street is SiHom market. Easy to add days if needed, and the staff are very hospitable and nice.

The kitchen and bathroom area have vents in the ceiling, which you can hear people in the back drinking and talking all night. I'm an early riser, so it made a difference to me. It might not for others.
This is not a hotel room or studio. This is a genuine apartment. There is a good-sized lounge with a three-seater sofa, cupboards, TV, and a large refrigerator (with a separate freezer compartment). There is also a wall-mounted fan above the sofa. The windows and door have mosquito screens, so they can be left open in the evening. The bedroom is also quite spacious. As well as the double bed (which I found very comfortable), there is a bedside cupboard with soft-lighting lamp, and a large wardrobe (with one lockable drawer). The room has both an extractor fan and a decent AC unit. The kitchenette area is at the end of a longish corridor. There is a sink, kettle, cutlery, glasses, and a microwave. The bathroom/toilet leads off the kitchenette. The water pressure is good, and the electric shower ranges from lukewarm to hot. There are benches outside the apartments, approximately one bench to two apartments. So, if you choose to, you can sit outside. CS Apartments is down a short alley that opens onto one of Vientiane’s main roads in the city’s center. So, while the location itself is fairly quiet, it is only a few minutes' walk from lots of shops, restaurants, and even a night market. Overall, I found my stay at CS Apartments to be both comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended.

This is not a problem with the hotel, but, rather, some of its guests. During my stay, the people in the adjacent apartment were all heavy smokers. They often sat on the bench outside smoking, coughing, and even “hoiking” and spitting. This was actually quite unpleasant. In the end, I asked if the bench could be moved closer to their apartment, and further from mine. They were actually quite friendly people and agreed to this without a problem. However, as smoking is not allowed inside the apartments, smoking outside of them is quite common, making sitting outside unappealing for most non-smokers. I would suggest two ways in which the situation could be improved. One is to allocate a single bench to each apartment. The second is to ban smoking outside the apartments. There is a large empty space at the entrance to the apartments. This could easily be made into a smoking area. Had I been able to sit on a bench outside my own apartment in the (fairly) fresh air, this would very much have improved my stay.
I had a positive experience at the hotel, the staff were nice and friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay comfortable. The location is very good, and the room is spacious and nice to stay in. Unfortunately, there was a noisy issue at night, and I decided to leave earlier than planned. I'm probably just very sensitive to noises because no other guests have complained about it. What really impressed me was how the hotel handled the situation. Even though they weren't obligated to, they kindly refunded my last night, which I really appreciated!

The wifi is not great. It is somewhat well-received in the entrance room but very, very poorly in the bedroom. Other than that, there is nothing negative.
