The high price for keeping a small luggage during my absence

There was a kitchen and fridge so I could buy groceries and make my own breakfast before starting out on the day. Nicely equipped – you could cook all meals there if you wanted but I wanted to eat out as well. Bathrooms/showers are clean and nicely appointed. Snorra Bar was a nice little get away (on the same floor) to have a cappuccino or beer and meet locals or chat with guests. Beds were very comfortable and the pull down blind blocked most of the light, and it was cozy. There was a plug-in to charge devices and the light in the pod to turn on or off. Great location; I walked a lot. Nordic Hostel was clean, well equipped, and I always felt safe. I'd come back again in a heartbeat!

I first had an upper bunk, and personally was a little uneasy climbing down the ladder (but then I am 60 and I'm sure it would be a-ok for a young person). The staff accommodated my move to a lower bunk, when it was possible for the last days of my stay. Next time I will ask for a lower bunk when I book, but I had great sleeps up and down.

Only complaint is that the door to the room closed very loudly, even when trying to be quiet about it.

Could be a bit noisy

Overall great. Only issue was my code for after hours check-in did not work. This lead to lots of troubleshooting and ultimately having to purchase a phone service so I could call the after hours line.

They had a party at night and it was disturbing my sleep. So, if you got in room one you might hear the noises from the bar..
