Rooms need a bit of TLC; overall cleanliness is decent but could improve.
Extremely friendly staff and excellent service noted, especially from Celeste.
Easy access to trams and a great location for city access.
Some rooms are dated and need renovation; cold shower also mentioned.
Facilities are decent, but issues like a lukewarm shower persisted.
Prices considered high for the quality experienced during the stay.
Breakfast menu is excellent with varied options.
Overall a pleasant stay, with some issues balancing out the experience.
Location was great for out needs. The hotel is in the center of Leith and surrounded by lovely pubs, restaurants and cafes. Very close to tram a d bus stops. Rooms are comfy.

1. Some rooms are facing a brewery, dumpster and cobblestone street so you get a lot of noice. 2. The interior design of the hotel and the rooms are somewhat dull and not fitting to the hotel building.
Staff so friendly and good knowledge on things to visit.

Poor washbasin design, ,difficult not to splash water about .Very squeaky wardrobe doors ,damaged handle, insufficient clothes hangers, No drawers in room.
Interesting building, well-kept and managed. Loved the fact that there was a fridge so I could buy fresh milk for tea.

I feel the cold, so had to turn up the small radiator. The safe was too high up for me to use.

I upgraded to a junior suit but the bed was tiny and you could hardly walk around the bed. The shower was good but it flooded the entire bathroom if on for more than 30 seconds. My room was unfortunately next to the housekeeping room and they were so noisy slamming doors and shouting from 0700. Breakfast was a poor standard there were so many dirty tables, it wasn’t even busy I had to find one of the only clean tables. Dinner was the same the night before.
