it’s an 8-10 min walk from the nearest metro (hechuan station). might feel a little far for some but we didn’t mind it as it was mostly a straight path. there’s also a few shops near the metro (family mart & chagee) which were very convenient for us. there’s even a halal restaurant nearby for muslim travellers! the beds were pretty comfortable and i appreciate that there’s daily housekeeping. even though most of the staff didn’t understand english, they tried their best to communicate with us. it was a smooth check-in and check-out and they also let us check-in early at 8am

when we first came in, the room smelled like cigarettes. it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. thankfully, the smell went away the longer we stayed. the walls were pretty thin so sometimes we could hear other people and the cars outside. they only provided disposable towels and not cloth towels so we had to buy some ourselves since we shower more than once a day
