Very good location, close to the village center, beach, tavernas and shops, all quickly accessible by foot. Very nice host. The hotel is a bit basic, ok for 1 night. The hotel has great potential but the rooms need to be modernized.

Very good location, close to the village center, beach, tavernas and shops, all quickly accessible by foot. Very nice host. The hotel is a bit basic, ok for 1 night. The hotel has great potential but the rooms need to be modernized.

We can’t comment on the breakfast as we decided not to stay for the following reasons: - air conditioning was not working properly (we asked for help but the lady was filling in and couldn’t help) - the bed’s mattress was far too hard (I have issues with my back so that was a non-starter, might not bother other people) - reception and the corridor to our room reeked of smoke - parking was advertised and when we were asked where we should park we were told we couldn’t on the drive next to the hotel but that all streets were free parking (no spaces that we could see that wouldn’t block other hotel entrances). Yes the price is low, however we managed to find a comfortable room nearby for only a few euros more. The only advantage we could see to this hotel was its central location but the walk from the other hotel was only five minutes more. We booked this hotel based on its excellent reviews but really don’t understand why they were so good. When we left there was no one on reception to explain why we decided to leave. There were named envelopes presumably for other guests so it looked like there wouldn’t be anyone coming back. We can’t recommend staying here.

Very decent hotel within immediate walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Good condition of the rooms. Bathroom is a bit small. The indicated parking does not really exist, it is the street of the hotel... There is a parking lot in the immediate vicinity but at 5€ per day.

It's totally cute, quite small, the bathroom is amazing, totally new, but, as often, the mattress is intense and you can feel the springs through. If that doesn't bother you, you'll be fine there.

The hotel is perfectly located when you want to visit Matala town or go to Matala beach. The hosts are absolutely fantastic and know all the good things they should do for their guests. There is a super good atmosphere and there is a lovely garden where you can sit, both for breakfast or to relax during the day. There is a supervised parking lot 50 meters from the hotel, where we paid 5 euros per day to park. Can only highly recommend the hotel.
