Guest sentiment
- Cleanliness1.0
Many guests explicitly noted rooms and public areas as clean, though some references to worn surfaces and need for TLC temper the sentiment.
- Service1.0
Staff frequently praised as friendly and accommodating; a few service/maintenance hiccups (defective Keurig, key not working) noted but staff responsiveness otherwise positive.
- Location1.0
Consistently described as an excellent, central location with easy access to attractions, restaurants, sunsets and a small private beach — a clear strong point.
- Room Quality1.0
Multiple comments about rooms feeling tired or worn, needing paint/repairs, limited storage, and firmer beds; several guests contrasted room condition with the strong location.
- Amenities1.0
Private beach, pool, beach bar and pleasant grounds/garden are frequently praised; some guests note the pool/areas could use updating.
- Value for Money1.0
Several guests explicitly call out price-quality concerns or say the price is high for the room condition, indicating a notable negative sentiment on value.
- Food and Beverage1.0
Food and on-site restaurants (e.g., One Duval, breakfast options) receive positive mentions, though not universally detailed across reviews.
- Overall Experience1.0
Overall sentiment skews positive — many 'wonderful' stays, wedding celebrations and repeat-intent — but maintenance, room condition and value issues temper the overall score.
