Coffee in room wasn’t replenished daily - minor niggle! Felt a little bit dated but you couldn’t fault cleanliness of what the team were working with.

Breakfast was a slight disappointment, although it was decent.

Breakfast is really good and diverse, a rating of 10. The room itself was good, bright, and clean. The bed was good. It was nice that there was an iron and ironing board in the room. The service at the reception was very good. The hotel's location was excellent (except for the busy road with a lot of traffic).

Traffic noise disturbed at night. The window could not be kept open despite the heat. There were as many as 3 different tram lines passing on the busy road, and their noise kept us awake at night. The full-floor carpets in the corridors were dirty and untidy. The hotel did not have a separate bar, even though the hotel is classified as a 4-star hotel.

Excellent location for visiting the Old Town area and the parks and close walk to the Art Deco part of the City. The reception sells drinks (there is no formal bar) but there is a lovely area to sit and enjoy a drink in the reception area (and at good prices). Small coffee shop open next to Reception in the daytime.

Room was "compact" and fairly basic owing to the age of the hotel building. Windows are double glazed so not much street noise unless the window is opened.

1. Hotel asked for extra pay for checking in one hour earlier than the official check-in time. 2. Rooms are very small, and the hotel seems dated.

Great location as far as tourist spots go. Very comfortable bed and well-soundproofed windows. Very friendly staff. Great cafe with great coffee right next door and accessed via the hotel lounge/reception. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because we prefer to find more local breakfast spots.
