The Hotel Adebar was excellent, a small hotel somewhat hidden in a very quiet side street with little traffic but not far from the Florenc bus station and easily reachable on foot, from there the city center is easily accessible by metro or tram in a few minutes. The Hotel Adebar was very good, everything needed was available and left nothing to be desired, the service was also good as well as the hotel's facilities, the rooms were spacious and the beds were large & comfortable. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and varied. There was something for every taste, and drinks such as coffee, juices, water, and everything else were available. The service of replenishing and refilling at the buffet was very attentive and there was nothing to complain about...

What was very disappointing was that in my booking I had indicated an arrival time of 12:00, so that we could check in immediately upon arrival at the hotel room, but we were disappointed and had to wait until 14:00...

Breakfast and cleanliness and operation there
The room was clean. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and the food was good.
The room was clean. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and the food was good.
The room was on the ground floor with the street level higher than the hotel floor, making it impossible to leave the window wide open overnight and uncomfortable before then since it would be much easier to go in than out the window. Therefore, one drunken accident or a bad idea right outside would have been enough for a very unpleasant experience. The windows were old wooden double windows, so even ventilation was not possible and the noise from the street was fairly loud. In the heat of late August and with no AC in the room, the inability to comfortably ventilate through the windows was unpleasant, but luckily it was a short stay. When I entered, the entrance hall was filthy - mess on the floor all around. It may have been a recent accident, but in general, I am used to cleaner common spaces in hotels.
Great price per quality level (especially in August). The room even had an AC unit. The cleaners are doing a great job (had a little wine spilled on the bed – sorry for that). The hotel is situated in Karlin, which is a quiet neighborhood, but not very far from the old town – going on a stroll there on a Summer day feels great. Also a hundred meters away from a great burger joint. My previous rating was not as good as this one, as I was situated on the ground floor, which is very basement-esque, so I'd recommend asking for a room located on a higher floor. Also the receptionist was of great help – full of enthusiasm and ingenuity when making the invoice the way my country's tax laws require.
