What I liked the most was... everything!
The hotel is located quite centrally and is situated in a beautiful old building with a lot of flair and pleasantly high ceilings. We were given an Executive room, which was exceptionally large and spacious. The entire hotel complex is also very large. As a result, the property seemed more like a classic hotel of an international chain to me rather than a personal boutique hotel. Breakfast is officially served from 6:30 to 10:30 AM. However, during our visit, parts of the buffet were already being cleared by 10:00 AM, which I found unusual and disturbing. The selection and quality of the buffet did not entirely meet my expectations for a hotel of this category. I would like to highlight the option to additionally order food a la carte, which was abundant and tasty. Highly recommended is the Rooftop Bar. The view over Jakarta is excellent, especially at dusk and after dark. A visit for a cocktail is definitely worth it. However, the prices are approximately at a European level. We found it unpleasant that the padded headboard of our bed had visible stains, which should not occur in a hotel of this category in my opinion. Overall, the stay had positive aspects, especially the spacious room, the historic building, and the Rooftop Bar. However, due to the size, the rather impersonal atmosphere for me, the breakfast experience, and the condition of the headboard, I would not book the hotel again for another stay in Jakarta.

The only downside was that there were no balconies in the rooms. Otherwise, I think it's quite pricey for Indonesia.
