We got a private room on the forth floor, number 44. The room was spacious clean and pretty even if some of placement options were strange. Location is just amazing I the vibrant neighborhood of Chueca just around the corner from the metro. The staff is amazing and special shout to Ana who treated us like family.

Noise insulation in the room is completely non existent. We could hear cars and people talking in the street from the 4th floor. Considering that it's placed in a nightlife area this meant that even with earplugs we would wake up several times per night. Our last night was a Friday and the noise level in the room was completely inadequate to sleep. I woke up and went to check if the window was open by how loud it was. For the price we paid (~200 euros per night) I would expect that proper noise insulation in an entire renovated building would be bare minimum. Some design choices are also weird. There are two toilets, one with just a shower and one with just a toilet which is actually good but the basin is outside both of them in the main bedroom area which means that if you use the toilet at night and wash your hands or brush your teeth you will wake up your room companion.

Some roommates as usual: disgusting (not washing their hands after using the bathroom / urinating) but the place, location, and staff were great!
