The view is everything—the studio, with its 100% ocean view, was quite minimalist but featured a wonderfully comfortable bed (medium-firm). Simply opening the windows was enough to keep the room at a pleasant temperature. I recommend picking up breakfast to enjoy at sunrise while watching Venice Beach wake up.

Simply opening the windows was enough to keep the room at a pleasant temperature. I recommend picking up breakfast to enjoy at sunrise while watching Venice Beach wake up.

There could have been more hooks for hanging clothes, as well as a bench to place a suitcase on. It is not pleasant having to put it on the bed.

The homeless guys were terrible.

Excellent location right on the beach, staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean. Near everything in Venice, music, entertainment, water. Sunset was awesome. Room wasn't ready when we arrived, staff kept our luggage and called when the room became available which was very nice. Close to bars so be aware there is a bit of noise until late in the evening, especially since you need to keep windows open for air.

No electrical plugs near the bed, therefore, no lights in the bedroom area, other than overhead lights, phones had to be plugged in either at the window table or in a location that caused a trip hazard. There was a lamp on the table next to the bed but nowhere to plug it in. Bed was uncomfortable, single relatively thin mattress on frame (if you sleep on your side as we do, the bar was very hard on hips), room had no air conditioning, fans helped but the heat was too much for the fans to handle, For the price we paid, I would have expected a little more comfort.
