Generally reported as clean (rooms cleaned daily, facilities described as clean and well maintained) but occasional housekeeping inconsistencies (missing/irregular towel changes) and comments about cold/clammy rooms reduce the score.
Consistently praised across many reviews (amazing, friendly, accommodating staff; helpful with check-in, planning and connecting rooms), giving service a very strong positive rating.
Repeatedly highlighted as excellent and central (near V&A Waterfront, easy to explore the city), though a few guests noted noise issues depending on room placement.
Rooms described as comfy and well-equipped with cosy beds, but some issues reported (cold/clammy in season, design dislikes like twin beds/headboards, occasional TV faults and power outage) lowering the score.
Mixed feedback: helpful bar/cafe and well-equipped rooms, but several mentions that the pool is very small (more like a tub) and some inconsistent replenishment of in-room supplies; minor reliability issues with in-room coffee machine.
Many find location and service justify the price, but a few comments mention the hotel is slightly overpriced or basic for the rate, so value is positive but not top-tier.
Breakfast is praised in many reviews (good selection, enjoyable), yet some guests reported disappointing pastries (stale/old), limited choices at times, and a slightly chaotic breakfast at peak periods.
Overall very positive stays cited (friendly staff, great location, comfortable rooms) with occasional negative incidents (noise, power outage, small pool) leading to a strong but not perfect overall rating.

In the restaurant, they didn't want to bring me bread because it didn't appear on the menu, even though among the options for lunch there were several sandwiches. They could have offered me sandwich bread. On the other hand, it is a hotel of significant price, although, maybe, in the context of Cape Town and, more specifically, the Waterfront, it may not be so much.
