The manager Jon was very unprofessional and rude upon arrival, because there was a mix up with the pick up. (mind you our ferry was almost an entire day late and we arrived at 2-3am and he noted it was too late and for us to get a taxi) But then he wound up showing up, and because he didn't remember my full name, when I went up to him to see if he was there for us, he simply said no. Then once we got there in a cab he pulls up after us, being so rude and berating us for the mix up! He then put us in a room that was not even advertised online which was very very small, with the balcony off to the side of the house instead of the suite that we paid for that overlooked the kitchen and balcony area with an unobstructed view (which mind you I paid an extra 200 to get). After he berated us on the pickup which was a miscommunication on BOTH our parts, he said that room had plumbing issues and were working on it, but only after I noted this was NOT the room I paid for. No one was in that suite working on the plumbing as we had a clear view of that unit from our small side unit. The owner then refused to honor the original rate and refund the $200 I paid extra for the room we did not receive, nor did he agree to have us stay an extra night to make up the difference in payment. He also did not take us to the store which was supposed to be part of the pick up, (after telling us the night before to be ready at 9am) noting instead in morning after we continued to discuss the rate and room, he changed his mind and said he can call us a taxi for $20. I was so upset by his arrogant behavior, but there wasn't much to do at that point, and I wasn't going to let him ruin my trip. Needless to say, I was very disappointed as it was my first time in St Lucia. We wound up staying at another place on our last night which was truly delightful and the manager treated us with warmth and respect. Shame on you Jon!

You will be hard-pressed to find a more friendly and more organized host in St Lucia. From the booking all the way to the departure there is 100% support and responsiveness. The accommodation is at it is shown and described on the platform. It is within walking distance of Castries town but it is also far enough out of town to provide a quiet atmosphere - and no traffic whatsoever outside the accommodation ! The rooms are fully equipped and self-sufficient so that guests can choose to prepare their meals there, rather than eating out each day. The accommodation offers laundry options and if there is anything the guest cannot find, they simply have to ask. John is the perfect host !
