Perhaps have the staff prepare exact change when paying cash.

Located near South Jakarta Darmawangsa. It was good in terms of location, and having a mall inside the hotel made it convenient. Had a comfortable stay. There are many places nearby to relax and many Korean restaurants, making it convenient for meals. Had a pleasant stay.

Hair or dust in the room. It was not nice to find a used comb in the disposable items. However, the room was quiet, but my colleague's room faced the street and was noisy even though it was on a high floor. In the morning, there was an Independence Day event nearby that woke me up due to the noise.

Almost everything. What I appreciated most was how calm the hotel felt. From the moment I arrived, a staff member opened the car door and offered to help with my luggage. Even while waiting for my room, the clean, quiet and pleasantly scented lobby made the experience relaxing. The room was better than I expected from the photos. It was spacious enough for two adults, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was great, and everything worked perfectly. I loved the lighting, the twelfth-floor view, the air-conditioning and especially the surprisingly good soundproofing. The interior was tasteful without being over-the-top, and the amenities were complete. The staff were genuinely excellent. Mr Imron, in particular, helped recommend places to visit, and even helped arrange a late check-out until 6 PM because of my late flight. That was incredibly helpful. And the location is simply 10/10. Cafes, good food, convenience stores and easy access to taxis/Grab are everywhere. If you want to explore Jakarta through its food, nightlife and youth culture rather than just the usual tourist spots, this is a fantastic place to stay.

Honestly, there isn’t much I can complain about. The only thing I would change is the gym’s opening hours. I understand why the swimming pool has operating hours, but I would personally love to see the gym available 24 hours, especially for guests who prefer exercising early in the morning or late at night. Other than that, I genuinely struggled to find anything I disliked about the hotel.

This is an extraordinary design hotel, with some beautiful folkloric details. In South Jakarta – whether this location is ideal or not may depend on the purpose of your visit in Jakarta. It suited me perfectly. The hotel is situated in the Darmawangsa Square mall, interconnected with internal doors from the lobby: the mall is tiny for Jakarta standards, but with refined fashion boutiques, tailor for quality clothing, restaurants and cafes, supermarket, pharmacy, money changer, etc. Within a 30-minute ride (traffic jam can make things a nightmare sometimes, though) you reach the Block M, grand stylish Senayan Mall with cinemas, coolest bars of Gunawarman area, many museums and galleries. The post office branch is a 3-minute walk away. The northern entertainment hub of Jakarta and some other important locations may be far, up to 1 hour or more ride, but generally I find this location very satisfactory. The hotel staff, without exception, are among the friendliest I met, and I received endless smiles at every opportunity. They were also helpful in resolving personal matters. A special thanks to Cecil who helped me purchase a rare vinyl. As for the rooms, business class is worth the price difference, as it gives a much more pleasant ambiance in the room and better city view. TV program was excellent, several news channels in English, even Russian. Courtesy drinking water, replenished daily, is always a nice gesture. Also daily room cleaning. In summary, excellent impression for pretty much everything.

Isolation was not perfect in the non-business class room – one night at least I could hear screaming from neighboring room. Wardrobe space is limited. Erotic channels seem to be blocked by the hotel internet provider, which I find strange as these materials are widely available on the net. Taxi vehicles have to make 2 or 3 circles around the mall to get to the hotel lobby entrance, an awkward solution, which adds a few minutes to each taxi ride.
