The bathroom was a bit rundown and the building is pretty old and smells as a consequence

The location was fine. A large shopping center with a supermarket is a 5-minute walk away. And in front of the same shopping center, there is a taxi stand.

The building is very noisy. I had the room right in front of the toilets and showers, which make a lot of noise. You can also hear the locks of the doors and the doors of other rooms very loudly. Even at night, which does not contribute to your rest.

It was very well located and close to the center, plus it had its own parking which was great.

In the courtyard where the cars were parked, there were many cockroaches. I understand that there are many bugs in the Azores due to the climate, but having that under the windows of the rooms and next to the entrance door... We put the sign for room cleaning for several days and besides not cleaning it, they put the sign back inside. I can survive a few days without cleaning, but the bathroom gave off horrible smells, besides looking like one from a prison, it left much to be desired. On the other hand, the room was quite shabby and the pillow was horrible, every day you woke up with neck pain. Breakfast could be greatly improved by just adding a toaster and some jam; for us, it was an incentive that it had breakfast, and it was disappointing to see how scarce it was.
