Guest sentiment
- Cleanliness9.9
Multiple reviews explicitly call the property 'very clean', 'clean and tidy' and note meticulous maintenance of the grounds and rooms.
- Service6.2
Mixed service feedback: some staff described as friendly and helpful and breakfast service praised, but serious negatives (deleted reservations, guests turned away, reports of overcharging/extortion and some unfriendly interactions) lower this score.
- Location9.9
Repeated praise for setting and views ('fantastic view on the sea', 'traumhafte Lage'), proximity to airport in one review and recommendation of the beaches; limited nearby dining and need for a car are noted but overall location is a strong point.
- Room Quality9.0
Antique furniture and opulent, palace-like rooms were celebrated by several guests, though a few found the decor dated or gaudy and noted many marble stairs/no elevator.
- Amenities9.0
The pool and gardens are repeatedly praised as excellent and generous; however there are no on-site dining options and no elevator, which are notable limitations.
- Value for Money6.0
Concerns about high prices, confusing billing and at least one report of being overcharged/extorted negatively impact perceived value.
- Food and Beverage9.7
Breakfast is described as 'very good' with excellent service in one review; lack of on-site lunch/dinner is a drawback but the strong breakfast experience and some positive mentions support a high rating.
- Overall Experience9.9
Many guests describe a wonderful, relaxing stay with beautiful pool, grounds and views and recommend the property, though some serious booking/service failures temper the experience for a minority.
