Staff at every level are extremely professional, nice and always willing to help. Amenities not listed include: private ensuite bathroom, and in-room safe and refrigerator. Wi-fi worked excellent at all times and free breakfast was a plus. Hotel could use a little touch-up paint here and there. It was simple to hail a taxi out front to go to pagodas, 2,000 kyat OR $1.36 USD, or downtown 3,000 to 4,000 kyat. I would stay here again in a minute.

The staff is kind. The response was good. However, it is disappointing that there are only toast and fried rice for meals. Although yakisoba is also listed on the menu. It was not served once in 3 days. Also, hot water did not come out.

The PVH hotel changed to new management and a new generation two years ago, not family-run anymore, lacking kindness and human touch, with constantly changing staff! Especially for us, old and regular customers, they treat us like walk-in customers, lacking a personal touch and the prices have increased during this economic downturn. Also, there is no connection with the website for Hotel.com and others, they do not provide member rewards for free night stays!

It’s a clean room and toilet. The price is not expensive with a delicious breakfast. All the staff are friendly and kind. If I go to Yangon again, I will stay at this hotel again.

We just finished our trip today. I would like to recommend this hotel to people who are going to visit Yangon. The hotel is clean. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The price is also not expensive. Additionally, the location is the best. It’s nearby the Shwedagon Pagoda, just a short walk.
