breakfast menu selection. not that big deal but since I had a longer stay, I would have appreciated a bit more variety at breakfast. Also, the dining area was always full, so I often had to wait for a table.

I was disappointed with the parking situation at Hyatt Place Houston/Galleria. When booking, it was not clearly mentioned that hotel parking would cost $35 per night and that the hotel only offers valet parking. I only found this out after arriving. There is self-parking available at the nearby mall, but that isn’t a great alternative either because you have to pay each time you leave and re-enter. For guests who are driving and plan to use their car during their stay, this can become inconvenient and expensive. I think the hotel should make the $35 overnight valet-only parking charge much more prominent during the booking process so guests can factor it into the actual cost of their stay before making a reservation.
