The hostel is centrally located, perfect for walking to various places like bars, shopping streets, or gyms. The decor is simple but modern, the bathroom and air conditioning work well. It should be noted that the bed in the private room is a bit hard - it didn't bother me at all and I slept great. The only thing I have to complain about is the refund of the deposit that did not happen. Upon arrival, I was asked when I would check out so that the deposit could be returned to me. Since I had to leave relatively early (7 am), I gave 7 am as my departure time. I was told that this was fine and that someone would return the deposit to me at 7 am. Unfortunately, I waited in vain and had to take my taxi at 7:20 am without the deposit to catch my connecting trip. Unreliable and a rip-off!!!

Great location Basic essentials Value for money. Only disappointing part was check in. I know a lot of places have a 2 pm check-in, but they have to be realistic when you arrive at 1:15 and they take 10 minutes for paperwork and then say you have to wait until 2 pm, when clearly the room is ready. I just cannot see their logic other than to put a miserable start to your stay.

The walls are blue, making the room look darker. The pillows and bed are comfortable to sleep on. The water pressure in the shower is a bit weak. The shared shower is better than the one in my private room. You can borrow a hairdryer from the shared bathroom and return it after use. Fortunately, there weren't many guests during my stay, otherwise, there might not be enough hairdryers to use. There is no elevator, so it may not be suitable if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage. The location is on a main road, easy to find and safe.

Maggie, the main employee behind the front desk, is very helpful. She speaks almost fluent English and is very eager to ensure that you are settled and comfortable. The other staff members were pleasant and polite but with a bit less English proficiency. The location is good for Old Phuket. Everything in that area is quite close together, so you can walk everywhere from this hotel hostel. The traffic in Old Phuket is crazy, be aware. It never stops. For the price of a private room here, which I had, you can't really find anything better. It's a safe and secure environment. Good showers too. The included breakfast consists of coffee, tea, toast with butter and jam, and cereal with orange juice.
