Mixed reports: several guests praised clean, comfortable rooms, but multiple comments note rooms not cleaned during stay, beds with hairs and forgotten housekeeping — overall slightly above neutral but inconsistent.
Mostly positive: staff frequently described as courteous, helpful and friendly at reception; a few isolated service failures (e.g., room-change promised then forgotten) but overall strong staff interactions justify a high score.
Convenient for downtown/metro access (short walk) but repeatedly described as a dodgy/noisy area with many homeless/drug users and safety concerns at night — useful location but with notable drawbacks.
Mixed: some modern furnishings and comfortable beds, but rooms are small, shower doors awkward, broken tiles reported, creaky beds and cramped layouts reduce the score.
Good basic amenities noted (fridge, TV/smart TV alternatives, shampoo/gel, coffee machine in the hall) though some failures reported (cable outage, spotty internet, occasional broken coffee machine). Overall a solid amenities offering for the price.
Repeatedly called affordable and good value for San Francisco; guests recommend it for the price despite some service/food compromises.
Consistently negative: breakfast described as poor (limited yogurt/cookie, bad/unripe fruit, coffee machine often broken) — F&B is a weak point.
Mixed overall: affordability, convenient location and helpful staff balanced against small rooms, inconsistent housekeeping, noisy/dodgy surroundings and poor breakfast; aligns with the target overall rating.

I didn’t like that there’s no parking meter parking, and the alley where you leave your car for 10 minutes to check in is very dangerous—we were almost robbed. We had a really bad experience, so we had to leave and didn’t spend a single night there.
Well located, 20 minutes walk from downtown.

The neighborhood is not very pleasant, with many homeless camps in the surrounding streets. The hotel itself was disappointing: non-existent breakfast (limited choice and rotten fruits), coffee machine out of service, faulty air conditioning, and clogged sink in our first room. Cleaning is not done daily and there is no fridge in the rooms. The rooms are also dark and lack natural lighting, mainly overlooking homeless people in the streets. The wifi connection is not secure. I would not recommend.
At least some breakfast. A little fruit, sugary snacks, sugary yogurt, and coffee. Room equipment was okay.

You can do without a coffee machine in the room. Noisy room. Loud street noises. Many homeless people in front of the hotel. It's best to go there just to sleep. You should also not walk through the streets too late. Many shady figures loiter around here. Breakfast could be better. Room was quite small.
For the price it couldn’t be beat… I didn’t need much and to me everything is walkable so got around fine. I’m traveling solo as a woman and had some hesitation staying in this area of town, and there were some questionable persons I walked by in the streets at times, but that’s anywhere and never felt unsafe.

The TV in the room didn’t work. I don’t particularly care and never even reported it to the front desk but would have been nice on occasion to have the background noise.
The place is central, renovated, beautiful, and very close to everything.... a very quiet place to stay for a couple of days...

It doesn’t have its own parking but you could leave the car on the street without any problem.. Just be aware of the time and days when they clean the streets
