Accommodation in Rio tends to be pricy, above average rate in other cities.

I have nothing against the spartan design of the accommodations, I stayed in room 968, however, the hangers do not hold on the hook, when you hang clothes the hanger falls, furthermore, I missed having a paper bin near the work desk.
Parking is not part of the hotel. An extra fee was charged.
The great differential is the location! The hotel is a few blocks from the subway, has a fruit and vegetable market in front, nearby markets, and many options of restaurants and bars in the area. You can do a lot on foot and the access to public transportation is excellent.

I went to Rock in Rio and returned by subway during the early morning. Even at that time, I felt reasonably safe on the way back to the hotel. During the festival, the metro entrance that remained open was on the other side of Rua São Clemente, so it was necessary to walk a little further, but nothing that bothered me. For those who want convenience to get around Rio, I found the location excellent.
