Extremely poor noise isolation - we could hear the neighbours talk (and do other things) very clearly. Blinds didn't fully close, which is not great with most rooms facing south east. Mildly incompetent / unfriendly staff at the restaurant (breakfast).
I enjoyed the location, the staff attentiveness, the breakfast, the cleanliness, the rooftop bar, and the conveniences offered. I usually don't stay in hotels this nice but when I do, they seldom provide the amount of attention to details like the Octant does.

Our experience here was delightful with the exception of one small complaint. When arriving tired and bit frazzled I was told the nearest good restaurant was 15 min away. Later, I found an excellent one across the street. Their parking is very small and tight. They do offer valet.

Restaurant with unreasonably high prices and mediocre quality of dishes. Limited choice of food for breakfast, especially few fruits. Bathrooms look cramped and gloomy due to the black walls. Construction work is going on outside the hotel windows.
