Was a nice location, and very convenient that its located right by a very nice shopping centre. The room was nice. The bed was nice. Service from room service was good. Our room also had a very nice view. The bar and pool outside was also amazing.

The room service food and the breakfast food was very bland. The room service food is very expensive for what you get. I would definitely relook at the food of the hotel. our aircon also did not work in our room.

I came upon staff attempting to peek through peep-hole in the door of my room and later on there was an unsolicited offer of additional blankets by staff knocking on my door alleging that my non-existing 'companion' requested the blankets. This was followed by a call from the manager challenging my statement to the staff that I did not request anything. The manager however called me by a different (not even remotely close) surname despite getting the room number right. He could/would not explain how a manager could manage to not check the hotel's records to ensure that the right guest is in the right room.
The property is located in a decent neighborhood of Johannesburg. Clean. Staff are friendly. Good attention and care.
