Después de pasar dos noches sin dormir en el centro, necesitaba un lugar lejos de los bares en la azotea y la gente ruidosa que entraba y salía toda la noche. El Rural San Anton fue perfecto. Al día siguiente tomé un autobús de segunda clase hacia el norte desde un lugar a pocas cuadras de distancia con la ayuda de Antonio. Él es el propietario de hotel más servicial que he conocido. Hay tacos sabrosos, etc. cerca. Daría a este lugar un 5 si no me hubiera costado 150 pesos llegar en taxi y si no hubiera mosquitos en la habitación. Si conduces, sería perfecto. En mayo de 2021 costó $24.

My family and I had a great time at Hotel Anton. It is very helpful that they allow pets for those of us who need to travel with them, it also has a very large patio where you can walk with your pet. As for the room, the whole stay was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only observation I would make is that it is somewhat far from the city center but it is quite easy to get to.

It is an easy place to reach with ample parking, clean rooms and beds, clean towels, bathroom working correctly with hot water.

Traveling as a single female for the first time I was quite nervous as to what to expect. I had checked out this hotel online and it seemed to have pretty good reviews, but I was booking last minute during a busy time of year (Dia de los Muertos) and on a budget since I am a grad student traveling for research, so it was not like I had too much choice. I will tell you I was more than pleasantly surprised! This place could not have been better for the circumstances. It was relatively inexpensive, I paid $50 a night, the room was recently renovated, bright and clean and the owners were just really wonderful. I was in the green villa (they are organized by colors not numbers). I had a huge king-sized bed that faced my own little private garden through huge sliding glass doors. There was a TV, bed, 2 chairs and desk in the room and a little table with an umbrella outside. The bathroom had a place to hang your clothes, a towel rack, huge counter and sink, toilet, and a shower that was open to the bathroom, so it was a wet bathroom but I found the water did not really get anywhere. My room was attached to only one other so it was pretty quiet and private. I do not speak Spanish so every morning the wife, Maria, would call a taxi for me to go into town. Her English is not perfect but more than enough for us to communicate, and when needed we got by with Google Translate. Antonio, her husband, speaks really good English and even gave me a ride twice when I had to be in town at a
