Upon arrival, I couldn't confirm my reservation and had trouble communicating with the staff at first, but everything else was very good. The facilities had some issues like the hairdryer not working and no TV remote, but they provided other items. The security is good and it's a nice place.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, just steps away from the Church of Santo Domingo, with great restaurant options. The place is quiet and safe. There are some details like lack of maintenance in the facilities, insufficient hot water, and the fan noise is exhausting. The lounge chairs in the hallways cannot be used because they are full of sheets or towels.

The hotel is very nice, except for the showers; I recommend remodeling them. The only terrible thing was the lack of hot water. I had read about this in reviews, but I assumed they would have fixed it after months, but no! We rented another room for my daughters, which happened to be across from ours on the left side. It turns out that my husband and I had to go to their room to shower because the water was hot there, which was inconvenient. In other words, the left side of the hotel had hot water, but the rooms on the right side did not (according to our observations, as other guests were also upset about the same issue). It is well located, and I would recommend it once they invest in another boiler for that side of the hotel.
