Not as expected. Room was outdated and I asked for an updated room. View was of mountains and not the city. Misleading advertising

This is a really great hotel! It’s located next to everything you could ever need. Walking distance to everything! I really loved that. You’ll eventually figure out the area and create shortcuts. The staff were all so lovely and always so pleasant. I was on the 20th floor and loved the view so much. This property does not have breakfast available but there are a lot of food places in the area. I loved the extra activities that were available for guests throughout the week. Really lovely touch! When going out at night as a female, be cautious of your surroundings. It’s a very safe area but my friend and I did have an experience at the elevator. The lobby of the hotel is not located on the ground floor and after a certain time of the night you need your key card to gain access to the hotel levels. I really love that feature. A guy was at the ground level asking us to let him up because he didn’t have his card and his friend wasn’t answering him. I was a little wary as a female so I didn’t let him up but I did go to the lobby and inform them which I figured was the safer thing to do. Just something for others to think about. Maybe security can be added during those hours? Other than that experience, I did always feel safe. The complimentary beach items were so helpful. Early check-in, late check-out and upgrading rooms (I was able to upgrade to a 1 queen and 1 King Deluxe) are some of the perks I took advantage of and I was able to get all of them! That was extremely helpful!

This hotel is perfectly located in Waikiki. I have mobility issues and for me to walk to Waikiki beach only took 10 mins. My kids can easily do it under 7 mins. The hotel had a great vibe. From the moment you pull up, those attending the valet were very helpful in telling us what floor check-in was located. The lobby had a lot of tables- great for when you need to do a little bit of work while on vacation. There was ample parking in the multilevel garage, exiting the garage had to get some used to as the exit ramps were quite narrow. The rooms were sufficient in size, even though the layout of our room caught us by surprise as we opened the door and it immediately looked straight at a bed. Our room was clean. Bathroom was clean. And the housekeeping team did a wonderful job in keeping the room tidy during our stay. The bathroom was spacious. With separate sinks, a standing shower, along with a Toto toilet. Our room was just above the pool, and the first few evenings, we were able to hear the music coming from the pool during pool hours as we went to bed around 8:30 pm due to the 6hr time difference. The pool is not a pool meant for adults. It’s more for little kids to splash around in. The hot tub can be used by adults, so does compensate for the kid-friendly pool. Finally, want to leave the longest review for Christian- the gentleman who checked us in. He was fantastic. After the long flight, he made the check-in process so seamless and efficient. He was kind to offer up additional assistance and provided us with great suggestions around the hotel. The following morning, when I was making my way to the pool area, he still remembered my name, which I find really rare these days. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and Christian’s wonderful customer service will make us consider coming back to this hotel the next time we come back to Honolulu.

This hotel was wonderful. Excellent customer service. Location was great. Room was lovely. The hard-working staff was exceptional. Erica at the front desk could not have been more accommodating. And Lea (our room attendant) took such good care of us. She truly exemplified the beautiful Hawaiian spirit.
