Location great, Staff very nice but the rooms were too hot, fan was next to useless. While the hotel is expensive by Irish standards anyway the facilities really were not there. Even access to be able ot freeze water bottles would help in the extreme heat. There was no escape from the heat in the bedrooms

It needs some sort of cooling system even a freezer to freeze some water in bottles - impossible to sleep in the heat.

It was an easy-to-understand location in a city I visited for the first time. The location was good for going to restaurants at night and taking a walk by the river. The breakfast was delicious! Especially the cheese and salmon.

There were several steps from the entrance to the reception, which was a burden for us, aged 60-70, traveling from overseas with large suitcases. It would have been nice to know in advance. Also, I knew there was no air conditioning, but I was worried that it would be too hot to sleep. It seems necessary to prepare for global warming in the future.
