I arrived very early in the morning. The hotel graciously allowed me into the room at a reasonable early check in price. The room was very comfortable and I was able to sleep from mid-morning to mid-afternoon without disturbance. Not bad for being in Dhaka! I was actually very pleased with my stay once I got there and the situation was sorted. Would I stay at Raintree again? Yes, I would.

1. I had requested hotel pickup at the airport(through my booking). I had also requested the early check-in. There was no one at the airport to meet me, and the man at reception had no record of my requests. I had messaged on WhatsApp from aloft and after landing - no one read the messages. I find that concerning and would have changed hotels except cancellation was full cost. 2. No hot water for a shower.

I wish they could put a little more effort into their breakfast, many. Although it has variety, the mixture is not great. Also, the food was cold. Little TLC should do the trick.
