Property is in need of major renovation. Our bathroom had water damage and really struggled to close the sliding door. The lighting to enter and exit the property was so dark. Lobby carpet squares a trip hazard. The room did not have glasses or proper china cups to drink your coffee in. I was so disappointed that this hotel is a four star hotel. I wouldn’t even give it a 2 star.

The location and the sea view room were good. The greeting from the housekeeping lady was bright and wonderful.

Everything in the room, including the interior, is old and not maintained. The floor is full of scratches. For some reason, tissues were stuffed into the peephole of the door in the room I stayed in. Almost no soundproofing. You can hear everything from the room across banging noises. The room smells. The towels are rough and smelly. The bathrobe is worn out. There are only 2 bottles of water in the fridge. The taste of the morning meal is terrible. Positive reviews are lies. The attitude of the chef boiling noodles was also arrogant. The content on the first and second days was exactly the same. The variety is less than Japanese business hotels. Although it was supposed to be Japanese-speaking, it was English-only from the beginning, and when we didn't understand, a man next to us, somehow arrogantly, said, "Please sign here!" That was amazing! The female front desk staff chatting about it didn't make sense either. If a man can speak, why doesn't he explain? If there is no Japanese support, it should be clearly stated in the hotel guide. If there is no Japanese support, I wouldn't have chosen this place for 2 nights. The old hotel on the west side where I stayed the night before responded properly in Japanese and it was very pleasant. Shilla is not an old hotel, is it?
