It was a great location. Close to everything. We went for the Harry Styles concert at Madison Square Garden which was only a 5 minute walk. The staff was very friendly.

The lighting in the bathroom was awful. If you have to put make up on bring a make up mirror or light to use. And the room was so hot and stuffy. We had to wake up continuously throughout the night to restart the A/C just to stay cool. I had to pick something up off the floor that I dropped and in between the bed was so much dust all over everything and trash all over the floor so obviously the floor hadn’t been swept in awhile.
They didn't clean the room, we had to ask for it at the end of the day because we would arrive and it wasn't clean or tidy.

Staff told me I would have $20 credit in nearby cafe yet I was still charged for it on checkout, despite me checking twice. I raised this via booking.com but it was completely ignored. Also they kept charging my card for extra nights and then refunded it - no other hotel has such messy reconciliation

Our room was relatively noisy. There was no seating and there was no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room.

I didn't like being charged $50 per night as a franchise fee (hopefully we won't have any problems with the refund) even though the booking conditions said it would be a one-time payment of $100 and it seems they don't refund it until 15 days after check-out.
