I liked the classic colonial look of the place which made it look very homely and comfortable compared with the sterile steel - glass - brushed aluminum - marble hard look.

The location was a little out of the way which makes it a little awkward to get transport. Tuk drivers are always opportunistic, and lazy and either want to rip you off or can’t be bothered taking you anywhere. But the hotel staff are helpful in this regard.
New hotel, but elegant and hints of French Colonial architecture. Everything works..ac, great shower, bed brilliant etc. Nice breakfast. Really good location

Very nice hotel with a retro charm (but perfectly renovated). Spacious room, spacious bathroom. Simple but ok breakfast. Pleasant staff. Laundry service. A few minutes walk from Patuxai and the main wats.
