The bed and pillows wasn’t comfortable. The housekeeper did not do a good job cleaning. When I requested for refrigerator, it smells like spoil milk. When I requested towels the housekeeper used her key to enter my room without permission. Staff at the restaurant and check-in wasn’t friendly.
It was clean, nice and the staff was amazing.

I loved how clean and well put the property was. From the Valet parking to the reception everyone was kind and welcoming. It was my husband birthday and he absolutely love it. The property was well kept and put together and smelled so lovely.

Rude guest. But that’s out of the properties control.
The rooms were phenomenal.
The rooms were phenomenal.
The room didn’t have the best ventilation. If the shower was on the room was very hot and humid.
The check-in process was smooth... the view from the Executive Corner King was stupendous!! Southerly and Westerly views from my location. Simply remarkable! The room was spacious, and elegant. The walk-in shower (for two or three) made me get in every chance I got! I even used one of the breakfast credits at the restaurant near the front desk on the second floor - and my croissant sandwich was soooo damn good! I was on the 10th floor, no noticeable noise or distractions, intimate views looking into downtown offices and the rooftop pool, which always had people in it (traveled here during early August) From the lobby, the hotel is connected to a recently redeveloped retail and entertainment area, along the western end of downtown. From my window I could see the Toyota Center and the Convention Center. Without really leaving the property, I walked through a covered veranda to enter the House of Blues, and afterward, entered an entertainment venue that had a bowling alley, pool tables, bars, and restaurants. Whenever I go back to Houston, for a short stay, this is where I will be!! You can count on it!

I will admit that the resort fee, along with the daily applied destination fee, threw me off. But they made up for it with the staff! Trastevia (the front desk clerk) was remarkably composed when I snapped after discovering there would be an additional $200 deposit required as well. I had to apologize upon my departure, as I should have suspected as much, being a hotel in the heart of downtown Houston. Which is why I prefer staying in full apartments. But that's a-whole-nother story! Bottom line, I would stay here again, and if you do not need a full apartment, then this is the place to stay.
