Kitchen only unlocks at 8am which is a bit late to have breakfast and start your day. Some travellers lost for 40BAM worth of food because of an early bus and the kitchen being locked... Also, the locks on the lockers don't work. They added some things to lock some up but not on all of them yet.

Ivan, the owner, and Medina were exceptional help for me. The location is amazing! Medina helped me by calling the bus company to locate the departure station and then identifying the best trolley bus to get me to the location. Ivan takes great pride on his hostel. He printed my bus ticket, advised on best form of travel in the rain with two suitcases to reach my bus station, called a taxi for me, helped carry my suitcases down the stairs, and took time to chat with me about the hostel.
