Blinds provided little privacy and light blocking. These, along with the walls were incredibly dusty, despite everything else being nice and clean

The hotel was reasonably well located in Queenstown and was a 15 min walk to the town center. This was convenient as it wasn't easy to find parking in the center of town. The process to collect the keys was very easy and there was free onsite parking.

I booked a room at the back of the hotel for budgetary reasons and I knew it was a cheaper room. Unfortunately the pictures on the internet of the room I booked were very inaccurate. They were of much better type of room. The website said that there was a garden view but there is a footpath that is the same height as the window sill so anyone who walks along the path could look directly down into your room and bathroom. As a result I had to keep the blinds closed at all times and the room felt very closed in and dark. There was no natural light which is very disappointing. My recommendation would to stay well away from the garden view rooms and either spend the additional money and get a lake view room or stay somewhere else. There was also mould in the bathroom.

It had all the facilities you needed including air fryer, fridge, toiletries and shared washing machine / drier. Hosts gave clear instructions and the bed was very comfortable. Easily accessible by bus with a stop 2 minutes walk away. If you’re looking for somewhere to crash, and spending most of your time out and about exploring beautiful QT, this place is great.

Easily accessible by bus with a stop 2 minutes walk away. If you’re looking for somewhere to crash, and spending most of your time out and about exploring beautiful QT, this place is great.

It is about 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Queenstown which wasn’t a problem for us. The rooms we had was overlooked by the path outside so blinds had to be kept drawn for privacy. The water pressure was fantastic but the shower head points at the opposite wall and is a bit tricky to adjust.

The accommodation was really affordable comparing other options in Queenstown and location was reasonable considering the price. We walked to and from town every day and had no issues. If you will be spending most of the time in town then this is a really good option.

Photos of the accommodation combined the studio and apartment. Preference would be to split them when viewing options so you know exactly what you were getting.

Pillows were not good. Our bed had lump in middle not good. Need to improve

When we checked in there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom. We aired out the room, the smell seemed to dissipate. However when we would leave the house for the day and turned the air conditioning off, we noticed the smell when opening the front door again. Maybe something with the pipes in the bathroom?
