The ambience and interior decor was excellent. I booked the adjoining double bed and twin bed rooms for my family and we were wowed at the beauty and facilities provided. It was quite a studio room with all our needs met. Also, the dining had all the variety desired and rooftop pool was great for pictures.

I really liked the rooms with the image of a kingfisher on the wall and above the bed. There was also a balcony in the room. The hotel itself is very beautiful. Kingfisher images are everywhere. It is worth noting the restaurant with a transparent roof, from which the hotel is visible. In the hotel lobby, there is a transparent roof with the sky visible, and in the background, there are circles with kingfishers hanging. And this is also very beautiful. Also, worth mentioning is the rooftop observation deck of the hotel. And very friendly staff who allowed me to leave some of my belongings while I went to Mombasa.

Place is located next to one of many construction projects. My room wasn’t made up, there was also no hot water for a couple of hours.
Reception area was nice, the security guard was very friendly. Also, they decorated our room as we were on our honeymoon which was cute and much appreciated, but actually quite messy to clean up 😄

Noise levels were unbearable - multiple constructions around the hotel which you could hear clearly to the room and the common areas. Also, the hotel and the room were quite outdated and not too well cleaned. Our room had many faults, such as some lights not working etc. Early check-in is 50% of the room price which is a lot. Breakfast was passable. TV in the room didn’t really work. Shower temperature was hard to maintain - either too cold or too hot. Staff were ok, but check-in staff charged us extra and asked us to take care of it later on rather than just fixing it straight away. Not a good start for our honeymoon.
