I have traveled more than 120 countries and stayed in copious hotels. Yangon Excelsior is one of the best hotels that I have enjoyed. The design, furniture, fixtures, spacing, decor are perfected to every detail. The staff are attentive and personable under great management. Room services are provided twice a day. I cannot rave enough about how much I love this beautiful aquatint classic hotel and the friends I made with the staff Zarli, Chit, Bhone, and more who tried and put efforts to ensure my stay at Excelsior becomes a fond memory to reflect on in the years to come. Very good hotel, very clean, with attention to details (even automatic curtains, power outlet in the safety box etc.). Very nice and helpful staff (I mean really helpful). Location - in the narrow street, older part of the town, a few minutes' walk from Pagoda Sule and malls.
