Guest reviews
The hotel is well centrally located, you can reach the most important things on foot in a short time. The hotel itself impresses with its Southern charm. It is a really pretty hotel. The garden is tropical and there is a larger and a smaller pool to choose from. We felt like we were in the Caribbean. While having breakfast by the pool, we were often visited by an iguana.

We were assigned rooms directly facing the street. They were very noisy. The rooms themselves are extremely thin-walled. The two rooms we got were also very small. We couldn't even put an open suitcase on the floor. One of the rooms smelled very unpleasantly musty. However, this seems to be common in this region due to the constant humidity. The breakfast was sufficient, but unfortunately somewhat uninspired. You can't expect German breakfast buffet standards.
It was cute and good location.
It was cute and good location.
The size of the room as well as the very small breakfast.
Won’t stay here again. Stayed in Room 402, which had recently been remodeled. It was very clean, but had several faults: (1) The mattress (no box springs) was in poor condition. It rolled both of us to the outer edges and had zero support. We even rotated it from head to foot and totally flipped it over. It was still very uncomfortable. For a new remodel, the management went “cheap” on the mattress. If you don’t already have a bad back, you will after sleeping here for a few nights. (2) The walls are very thin; no sound insulation. There is even a huge gap under the main door of room 402. The first night, my boyfriend and I experienced a lot of stomping by guest(s) above us in room 405. Every morning at 5AM, we were awoken by the same guest(s) in 405. It sounded like they were attempting to get their 10,000 steps in for the day. The noise usually lasted about an hour. (3) Construction was occurring in other units and the crew parked their U-Hauls outside our window for several days. The noise associated with loading furniture woke us up, after we had managed to fall back asleep from the commotion in room 405. (4) The construction vehicles (U-Haul, etc.) were parked near our exit from the 400-unit building. We had about 2 feet to squeeze between the vehicles and a large shrub. For the positives: (1) The office clerk Juan was outstanding. He was very friendly and extremely helpful whenever we had questions. He even reminded us that Happy Hour was about to start in 15 minutes, when we happened to stop in the office asking directions. He was the highlight of our stay here! (2) The pools were great. We only swam in the large pool, but loved it! (3) The location is great; within walking distance of several restaurants and the marina. (4) Plenty of room for scooter parking. I don’t know, maybe another room would be better????
