Hello Booking.com Customer Service, I need your assistance regarding my recent booking of 2 rooms with breakfast included. By mistake, I initially booked 2 rooms for 2 adults. I tried several times before arrival to change the reservation to 4 adults (2 adults per room), but Booking.com did not provide me with an option to edit the guest count. I therefore tried to update the guest names instead. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that breakfast could not be provided for 2 adults in each room. We spent almost one hour at reception trying to resolve this, and ultimately had to pay again for breakfast for 2 adults, even though breakfast was included in our booking. This was especially disappointing as I had booked the stay as a gift for my parents, and the situation completely spoiled what was meant to be a relaxing staycation. I kindly request Booking.com to investigate this matter with the hotel and reimburse the additional breakfast charges we were forced to pay. I can provide the booking confirmation, screenshots showing breakfast was included, and the additional payment receipt. I hope Booking.com can look into this fairly and provide a proper resolution.
