Room not cleaned adequately during stay; corridor smelled of smoke.
Staff were welcoming and very helpful.
Great location, close to town center.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable, but some dated decor.
Missing some kitchen utensils, and the gym and restaurant showing signs of wear.
Price feels a bit high considering dated facilities.
Breakfast could be improved but overall food decent.
Enjoyable stay with some areas needing attention.

The main disappointment during our stay was the lack of hospitality and professionalism from the restaurant staff. Our flight was unexpectedly cancelled, so we had to book a hotel online at short notice. Given the internationally recognised Millennium Hotel name, we expected a certain standard of service. Unfortunately, on our first evening, when we approached the bar and were ready to order, a staff member wearing a supervisor badge approached us and bluntly told us to place our order at the bar. The manner was abrupt and unwelcoming, which left us quite shocked. Although the supervisor later came over to take our order, the initial interaction had already made us feel unwelcome. The following morning, we returned to the bar to order coffee. Two staff members were present, one making coffee and the other collecting water for herself. I stood at the bar waiting to be served for approximately two minutes, yet neither staff member acknowledged me, greeted me, or even explained where I should place my order. Both experiences left us with the impression that customer service and hospitality were seriously lacking in the restaurant. We understand that staff can be busy, but a simple greeting, a welcoming attitude, and basic acknowledgement of guests are fundamental to good hospitality. Unfortunately, this fell well below our expectations of a hotel of this reputation.
We received a lovely welcome from the two gentlemen on reception when we arrived. Our room reservation together our parking was dealt with in a very friendly and efficient manner. Simon was very kind and helped us with all our bags! Hotel is in a great location, a very easy 7min walk to the waterfront. Our room was lovely, clean and comfy beds!
