Room had a smell. The AC was very noisy and the vent direction wasn't adjustable. The shower door was missing. The air freshner they use in the lobby is intense. Main Power plug next to ned does not work.
My experience at the Italian restaurant at Concorde El Salam was humiliating and deeply disappointing. I left feeling that I had been treated differently because of my race. No guest should ever be made to feel this way. Over the past three years, I have written more than 63 reviews about this hotel, sharing how much I enjoyed its facilities. That makes this experience especially upsetting. The food was undercooked, and crackers were served in a drinking-water glass. Service also felt unequal: some guests received complimentary bread and more attentive treatment, leaving me with the impression that hospitality depended on how much staff expected them to tip. This restaurant falls far below the standards I had come to expect from the hotel. Respectful service should be extended to every guest. If I could give less than one star, I would. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
