I enjoyed the property and liked it. However, the staff slacked. For a five star hotel I was very disappointed. I had mentioned a few times by phone and email it was my boyfriend’s birthday and to arrange a little some special in the room for arrival. I was assured they would put complimentary balloon and a dessert in the room. We arrived the staff wished him a happy birthday he was shocked! I was excited to see his face when we arrived in the room. My face said it all I was so upset to see that nothing at all was prepared not even a card or a balloon. As someone who has worked in five star hotels in the Amalfi coast, it’s safe to say this was below satisfactory.
