Rooms very small no room to open a suitcase. Fire alarm was going off for 2 hours and no hot water the night we checked in. Minimal communication from receptionist on duty. I understand it was not the hotel’s fault the alarm was going off however the situation was poorly managed. Many unhappy guests all crammed in the reception as the alarms were extremely loud in the rooms. No apologies or compensation offered. The hotel bar was also closed both nights for a private event.

Quite noisy at night in the rooms, earplugs were provided, but still there was a lot of noise from the street; cars, people, etc. I'm a light sleeper so might not apply to everyone.

Un poil bruyant mais c’est le centre de San Francisco. Le monsieur à l’accueil au moment du Check in aurait pu faire un petit effort de sympathie.

I booked this hotel a little last minute and was so surprised by how reasonably priced it was for my two night stay! It’s located on the edge of Chinatown and Union Square making it super convenient to get around and see pretty things. There is a cute bar on the second floor and I got some really great fries! The room itself was absolutely lovely and the bed was comfy! It’s such a pretty hotel and I hope I have the chance to come back and stay here again!

The air conditioning unit in my room was dripping so much during my stay. I let the front desk know and maintenance never came to look at it. When I’m traveling I love sleeping in a super cold room and I couldn’t put the thermostat any lower than 70 to 72° without it dripping so much condensation. It’s was like a little waterfall and was very distracting. I was able to slightly open my window to let in cooler air, but I just wish the air con would have been better. Or that the window would have opened properly.
