The details. I do agree there needs to be some areas that need refreshing. We love the charm of older settings and the grounds as a whole was excellent. The staff are what makes a great stay and the attention to how we have our room and the hospitality of all the staff was exceptional.

A refresh of some areas and having universal power outlets would be something I would like to see. My wife has stayed at the Dharmawangsa multiple times and is her first choice when staying in Jakarta and I can now see why!

I stay in the hotel every year with family or friends or my husband but this was the first time I was disappointed in the stay.

I stay in the hotel every year with family or friends or my husband but this was the first time I was disappointed in the stay.

The room felt very outdated, broken sockets, sagging beds. Sound from the street was very loud through the windows all through the night so it was difficult to sleep. It was not informed upon booking that the pool were to be closed due to an event - and I booked specifically to use the pool. The wellness area and spa has been closed for years and have not reopened.
