The view to the Pyramids is the only positive side of the hotel

First, the hotel and facilities are EXTREMELY dated. Second, on Fridays and Saturdays they have weddings in the main restaurant from 5 till 11 pm meaning that a) you cannot have dinner at the restaurant with a view (technically you can, it is not forbidden, but the music is SO loud you can hear yourself when speaking), b) you cannot sleep at all until 23 as the rooms are not soundproof and the music in your room is at a level of a night club (not in one particular room but at most rooms of the hotel). Third, the food is mediocre. To sum up, the hotel is never ever worth ~$1000 per night. Normal price for what you get might be some $200-300/night. Having stayed at lots of hotels at $1000/night, I can state this with certainty.

Für den Preis etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das macht den Charme aus.

Informazione false per indirizzarti a ristoranti dove non serve prenotare quando chiaro tutti vogliono stare in quello vista piramidi! I clienti dell hotel dovrebbe avere posto garantito, invece viene gente da fuori e non rimane spazio per chi ha scelto una location unica!

Staying at the Marriott Mena House was a highlight of my Cairo trip. Waking up to a view of the Great Pyramid felt unreal, and the hotel’s palace-style architecture gives it real charm. The room was comfortable and clean, the gardens and pool were a peaceful escape after sightseeing, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout. Breakfast on the terrace with that view made every morning special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Giza. I’d happily stay again.
