Ontbijt is wat minder.

Resort facilities were excellent overall. We experienced some issues which are covered in another part of my review. The staff were courteous. The two-bedroom apartment was newly renovated.

Delayed getting checked in by 2 hours. Shower in master bedroom leaked for 2 days before being fixed. Oven didn't work initially and finally worked in Dutch language only. Beach was under construction, areas cordoned off. Renovations ongoing in our building during our stay and construction adjacent to our building from other properties was loud.

Wenig Gäste orientiertes Personal und eher unflexibel. Wir bemängelten Mehrfach die laute Baustelle am Strand. Das Hotel hat diese Tatsache verschwiegen und nicht offen und transparent kommuniziert. Einen Mietwagen hat uns das Hotel vermittelt. Der Anbieter kam eine Stunde zu spät. Die Möglichkeit von Late Check Out existiert auch bei einem nicht ausgelasteten und voll bebuchten Hotel nur in der Theorie. Ein ganz grosses Problem ist aber, dass man Curacao im wesentlichen nur mit KLM erreicht. Eine extrem unzuverlässige Fluggesellschaft, die massiv unpünktlich ist, regelmässig Flüge ausfallen lässt, die im Falle von verspätetem Gepäck nicht hilft und an die lokalen Behörden verweist und bei notwendigen Zahlungen offiziell auf deren Homepage an die Hausratversicherung verweist. Noch dreister geht es kaum. Leider kann man dadurch das Lions Dive Beach Resort nicht empfehlen, weil es nicht möglich ist, zuverlässig und entspannt dorthin zu gelangen. Das Lions Dive Beach Resort selber hat keine direkte Telefonverbindung oder Kontaktperson zu KLM

Er is helaas geen lift aanwezig. Dus als je een kamer hebt die niet op de begane grond ligt, dan zal je de koffers naar je kamer moeten tillen (voor ons werd dat gedaan, dus dat was een prima service).
