We returned to the pera palace after 30 years( our honeymoon & pre renovation) It was great to see the hotal updated and returned better days. It is a lovely characterful hotel much bettet than other souless 5 star chains The staff left us an anniveraary cake from the patisserie and a little messgae which was lovely Breakfast was fab probably the.most choice of anywhere we ve stayed.( quails eggs one morning !) Its ideally located

As we were there over a weekend there were weddings on 2 of the days which.meant that some of the facilities were closed to hotel residents which was a shame. Also the music was quite loud even.on the 5th floor problematic if you had an.early start but ok for us
