not enough room to explain how insulting the Maitre d was who claimed we had sent the room service back twice when we actually sent two meals back once then lectured us on how a Club sandwich was supposed to be cold (we sent them back because the french fries were cold) then after suggesting we should give them another chance even used emotional blackmail threatening to sack members of staff if we complained again. In my over 50 years of travelling, I have never met worse (there were other insults but I won't go into them here but happy to if the hotel management want to contact me)! Had a meal in the 10th floor restaurant and it seems the chef doesn't know how to cook a steak to the guests requirement as medium to well came out Rare to blue on the inside and my wife's medium came out the same. In view of the earlier threat, I forced mine down but my wife couldn't manage that and hid the steak under the salad however to our horror, the waitress took the plates behind the counter and inspected what we had left then came out asking what was wrong with it. We made excuses and left! The hotel is very Russian oriented! The nightlife seems to be considerably south of the hotel.
