The room was fine and comfortable. the range of breakfast items was very varied.

At 7.20, the breakfast area was ridiculous. only two poorly functioning coffee machines for hundreds of rude selfish people was not much fun. keeping you table was very tricky. When we checked in, we were asked for a £400 deposit to cover signing for things n the hotel. The first time a bought a drink i was informed that there was insufficient credit on my account. after ten minutes of 'discussion' i was allowed to sign of a couple of drinks.The following evening, the same thing happened after 15 minutes of mixed language app discussion, it emerged that they had included the whole room rate in the deposit and that was why we could not sign for anything. unfortunately this made us a little late for dinner but it was advertised till 9.00 p.m so we still had 20 mins. we were refused entry to the dining room at that time and had to go out in the rain to search for some supper. if you advertise dinner from 7..00 till 9.00 most people would expect dinner to be available for all of that time. A very poor system. the duty manager then tried to offer us a free drink chasing us all the way to our room on the 16th floor!!!! we were too busy to accept. this hassle rather took the edge off our stay.

The very reason that we ended up choosing this hotel was for the pool. It was closed. This ruined our experience.
